Our goal is to share this beautiful practice of QiGong, so that you can reach your greatest self-healing potential, and maintain vitality of the Body, Mind, and Spirit.
QiGong goes back thousands of years. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has always taught QiGong as a self-healing modality that stimulates and balances the flow of Qi along the energy pathways in our bodies.
The practice is a series of slow and gentle movements that combine proper posture, healthy breathing, and mindfulness.
When we engage in this practice with others, out in nature, the Qi flows stronger and greater, and all living beings benefit.
As we practice QiGong outside, we feel more of a oneness with Nature, and become aware of the deep energetic relationship we have with everything around us. Not only does this deepen our connection with our surroundings, but it helps to cultivate a stronger connection with our inner nature - leaving us feeling more at peace, and not alone.
Qi (pronounced CHEE) is the vital life force energy that flows through all things in the universe. It is the complimentary energies of the Earth (Yin) and the Sky (Yang), that meet within us, in the living bodies of animals, plants, and humans.
Gong is the practice or, skill of practice.
QiGong is the practice of cultivating life force energy.
